Solo Show: Vittoria Gerardi

Darmo & Gismondi collaborate with the Bigaignon gallery, Parisian gallery of photosensitive contemporary art.

Together we propose a personal exhibition of the talented artist Vittoria Gerardi, Latenza.

The name echoes the series developed between 2021 and 2022 by the 25-year-old Italian photographer.

 

In “Latenza”, Vittoria Gerardi examines the very nature of photography, light and time, and explores the boundary between the visible and invisible elements that make up a photograph. Through two different processes, baptized Lethegraphy and Alethegraphy, Vittoria Gerardi attempts to understand the language of photography, its submerged structure, its hidden side.
